林懷民說，他的夢裡常有條河，那河就是鄉愁！
如果「白水」是林懷民的鄉愁，那麼濃烈得令人心痛的「微塵」，又是他什麼樣的心情呢？
“I often see a river in my dream, a river of nostalgia,” said choreographer Lin Hwai-min.
If White Water is the gentle touch of Lin Hwai-min’s nostalgia,
Dust is his pains-- strong and unspeakable-- toward human suffering.
