「你找什麼？」
可說是不分國界在男同志交友軟體中最常見的一句話。用來快速確認共識：找朋友？感情？還是性？
當本片導演第一次被問到「你找什麼？」時，卻仿若開啟一個人生的大哉問，幾乎不知如何回答。
於是他帶著攝影機穿梭各大都市，訪問逾60位男同志，交換彼此的生命故事。
透過交友APP對於現代人社交模式的影響與改變，映照當代社會對於愛與慾的想像與實踐。
"Looking for?" is one of the most common questions raised by users of gay dating apps, but sometimes it’s not an easy one to answer. At least not for Yen, the director, when it first popped up on his screen few years ago.
The question sets Yen on a journey across the world, visiting 60 men living in 7 cities, revealing their experiences of love, lust, and lost as gay people in modern times. Yen’s journey did not yield a simple answer, rather, it invites the audience to contemplate: what are we all looking for?
導演簡介
周東彥
倫敦中央聖馬丁藝術設計學院，劇場與多媒體碩士 (MA Scenography)。國立台北藝術大學戲劇學系畢業，主修導演。現為狠主流多媒體有限公司負責人、國立臺北藝術大學戲劇學系兼任講師。
創作以影像及劇場為核心，延伸出多元的設計及藝術作品，領域涵蓋劇場多媒體設計、紀錄片、實驗短片等。影片四次入圍台北電影節，並多次參與國際影展。
CHOU, Tung-yen
CHOU, Tung-Yen is the founder of Very Mainstream Studio. He is a graduate of Taipei National University of the Arts in Theatre Arts, and later attained a MA in Scenography at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in the United Kingdom. He works primarily in video art and theatre, and has been on the shortlist of Taipei Film Festival for several times. My Leftover Ladies is his second documentary film.
